Homelessness isn't seasonal, which is why our year-round programs get so much attention. Devote time to volunteer and see first-hand the families we help daily.
Locally, YWCA Canton is a vocal advocate for children and families in need, along with the homeless of Stark County Ohio.
YWCA members have a voice, strong and unified, supporting women's rights, opposing racism, and creating public awareness of social and political issues affecting women.
YWCA Canton has made an immediate difference in the lives of homeless individuals and families in Stark County by providing emergency shelter, food, clothing – and hope. We help the homeless become self-sufficient with transitional housing, housing placement assistance, permanent supportive housing and compassionate support.
The YWCA Canton's Early Childhood Learning Center provides quality education services that benefit both the community and at-risk groups.
