CHILDREN'S SERVICES

Program Purpose:  To provide quality early care and education services to children that enhances their development and to prepare children to be successful as they transition to kindergarten.  

Program Description:  While enrolled in childcare, children and families at the Centers are provided with the following services:

  • Quality, nurturing care from experienced teachers
  • Healthy meals
  • Classroom environments that encourage age appropriate exploration
  • Developmentally appropriate lessons based on the interest of the children
  • Assessments and parent-teacher conferences twice a year
  • Developmental screenings upon enrollment and as needed
  • Family fun events several times a year
Eligibility RequirementsChildren aged 6 weeks to 10 years are eligible to participate in the Centers.  Financial assistance may be available through Jobs and Family Services Child Care Division at 330-451-8400.
