Take Back the Night

Take Back the Night is an annual event held at the Cultural Center for the Arts in downtown Canton. Community agencies throughout Stark County come together to raise awareness, provide education, and promote advocacy in a safe environment about interpersonal violence, particularly domestic and sexual violence. Take Back the Night 2019 will be held on October 23rd from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

Early Childhood Learning Center Resource Fair

THINKBIG: A Day of Community Conversations

The YWCA Canton is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Stark Community Foundation for THINKBIG: a day of community conversations on Friday, October 25th from 8:30-10:30 a.m.

We will be hosting two conversations, one on child care and one on housing. The event aims to bring residents together to find real solutions to real problems while celebrating the good in our community. Space is limited, so register today!

Onesto Miracle Market: Canton Girl Gang event

The Canton Girl Gang is hosting the Onesto Miracle Market. Experience a One of a Kind Holiday Market at the Historic Onesto in Downtown Canton. Taking place on Sunday, December 15th from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., guests will be able to shop from over 65 vendors and enjoy live music from Matt Corey, entertainment, photo ops, food, wine, craft beer and more. The event is free to attend and is family friendly.

As part of this event, Canton Girl Gang will be hosting a drive benefiting the YWCA Canton to help those in need during the holidays. They are asking that bring your donated items the day of the event. The full list of items in need are available on their website at:
