What We Do

Established in 1909, YWCA Canton has impacted the lives of many women and girls through a variety of programs and services that have transformed in 112 years to meet the needs of our community.

We provide transformative services in two focus areas: housing and early childhood education.

Housing

We provide emergency homeless housing, permanent supportive housing and Rapid Re-Housing.

Early Childhood Learning Center

The Early Childhood Learning Center provides high-quality early education services for children ages six weeks to eleven years.

Early Head Start

The YWCA provides year-round child care for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years whose families are homeless and/or live below the poverty line.

THRIVE

The YWCA partners with THRIVE to support and promote healthy pregnancies and healthy babies.

Community Rentals

The YWCA offers space for groups to rent for their meetings, functions or athletics.
